Project "CrossTour"

The main objective of the project is to support the promotion and development of tourism products by the crafts and antiques business in the cross-border region between Haskovo and Edirne as a means of enhancing the tourist potential, for sustainable development and promotion of the cultural diversity and the historical heritage of the region.

Specific objectives:
1. To explore the crafts & antiques market in the Bulgaria, EU and Turkey, including innovation and development trends, through the focus of the tourist product and to apply the lessons learned at local level
2. To market and promote the crafts & antiques businesses in the region of Haskovo and Edirne
3. To provide skills, knowledge and presentation options to the local craftsmen & antiques businesses for better marketing of their products so that they can offer them to more people/tourists in order to boost the Haskovo-Edirne tourist destination
